Startup competition

What is the start-up competition?

This is an event organised by Road Ventures SA, a Captive Venture Capital Fund that supports innovation in mobility and the road transport industry, and encourages creative thinking. This start-up competition is dedicated to launching and advising the world’s next wave of leading entrepreneurs.
Road Ventures sponsorship of Innovation Alley will bring together the top early-stage start-ups to pitch and compete against each other during the IRU World Congress in Muscat, Oman, on 6-8 November 2018.

The way people and goods travel from point A to point B is changing, driven by a series of converging trends. The result is the emergence of a new ecosystem of mobility that can offer faster, cheaper, cleaner, safer, more efficient, and more customised travel. That is where you can make a difference.
This competition will allow the most innovative project to win a prize of USD 100,000 in equity investment, and the opportunity to gain visibility with venture capital firms, angel investors, the press, as well as local and international media.
